Acupressure
is
based
on the ancient concept of meridian lines of life
energy or chi, flowing through the body. Pressure
is applied to specific points to clear blockages,
relieve pain and bring the body back into balance
and harmony. For this modality, acupressure is
incorporated into a full body massage.

Cupping
is a form of treatment that has been used for
thousands of years. Glass or silicone cups are
used to create localized suction on the skin. It's
used to loosen knots in muscles, encourage blood
flow and sedate the nervous system. I use cupping
for a full body massage, and move the cups
frequently to avoid spots on the skin. I have
small cups to end the session with a facial.

This massage starts with
compression and firm strokes to slowly relax the
muscles before deeper pressure is applied using
